100 Feet

“Her husband is dead and he’s taking the news badly…”

Marnie Wilson (Famke Janssen) killed her husband Mike (Michael Pare), a New York cop, in self-defense to his abuse. Although nobody believed it was self-defense, she stood her ground.  She was sentenced to years in prison, she was released to be under house arrest. The bracelet she’s forced to wear only lets her go up to 100 Feet away from the center of the house. This radius didn’t even let her go outside her own home. Can you imagine not being able to go outside for months?

After being tied up in her house where the killing of her husband took place, Marnie realizes she is not alone. Not only is she stressed about her husbands’ ex-partner, Shanks (Bobby Cannavale), staked out across the street, but her house is now haunted. The ghost of her abusive husband takes matters into his own hands once again. He starts to beat and attack her and all the people associated with her that come into the house.

This film takes you on a roller coaster of emotion, suspense, and gore. It is a bit scary at times but nothing you can’t watch. It’s packed with action (and I absolutely hate action movies) but it kept my attention the entire time, and that’s a plus for me. I hardly ever see movies that keep my attention; I’m usually asleep 20 minutes into them! So if your looking for a different-kind-of-scary movie, this may be your best bet!

Hmm…you say it’s not to scary???? I guess I’ll take your word for it.
