John Travolta and Miley Cyrus are the voices of an adorably playful pup named Bolt and his person, Penny, in yet another Disney animation that will keep you and your child(ren) entertained for… well, about an hour and a half.
Bolt has unknowingly spent his entire life on the set of his hit fictional sci-fi tv show in which he has superpowers. Â His first time off set occurs when he’s shipped off to New York City in a box full of styrofoam peanuts by accident, making him suddenly aware of his normalcy. Â He is at first convinced that his lack of powers can be attributed to the styrofoam peanuts – that they’re his kryptonite, and his nemesis, Dr. Calico, is responsible for that as well as for Penny’s absence. Â It isn’t until he runs into a cat named Mittens that he’s knocked upside the head with reality and finally accepts the fact that he’s just another plain ol’ dog and there’s probably not a whole lot he can do to help his beloved Penny… but he tries anyway. Â So begins the adventure of Bolt, Mittens, and Rhino, a lovable little pudge of a hamster who follows along in his ball. Â
Bolt is fantastic. Â Animal-lovers, watch out! Â You’ll fall in love with all of the little critters introduced to you throughout the film! Â From Mittens, the sassafrass little kitty that keeps Bolt company to Rhino, the star-struck hamster to the dazed and confused pigeons that show up throughout the movie trying to figure out where they’ve seen this little white dog before.
Bolt is just downright cute from the moment little Penny picks him out in the pet store.  Get ready for lots of smiles and “Aaaaawwwww” s.  You won’t be able to help yourself!

Loved this one! The hamster was SO funny!
