If you enjoyed Superbad or Adventureland, you need to add this to your Netflix queue! It was just released on DVD and Blu-ray November 3!
I Love You, Beth Cooper is a movie that takes place on the night of high school graduation. Denis Cooverman (Paul Rust) is the valedictorian of his graduating class. His best friend Rich Munsch (Jack Carpenter) persuades him to confess his love for Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere) during his big speech. Denis has sat behind Beth Cooper in almost all of his classes throughout high school and she does not even know he exists, until graduation day. Denis’s valedictorian speech is based upon having no regrets, and he blurts out “I Love You, Beth Cooper” and then gives more examples of other students and what they are really like. After the ceremony, Beth walks over to Denis and lets him know that he embarrassed her, but he is very sweet. He invites her and some friends over to his graduation party later that night. Rich and Denis are the only ones at the party, when Beth and her two best friends (Lauren London & Lauren Storm) show up. Denis is your typical nerd who makes a complete fool of himself, including popping a cork from a champagne bottle in his face. Beth’s boyfriend, Kevin (Shawn Roberts) tracks her down at the Cooverman household and starts tearing up his house trying to kill Denis, not only for his remarks from his speech, but now because he is with Beth. Rich and Denis escape with the girls, and the night of adventure begins!

The rest of the night includes running away from Shawn and his military gang. They drink in the forest, stop by a party, break into the school, ending up at a cottage in the wee hours of the morning. Each scene has so much comedy that your stomach will hurt from all the one liners.
I Love You, Beth Cooper is definitely a movie that you can watch with anyone and it is great for a good laugh! The whole movie takes place on graduation night, where the nerd has the best night of his high school years and the beauty learns that she can accomplish more than her years in high school. And the best part, is that Mr. Cooverman is played by Alan Ruck (Cameron from Ferris Bueller)! I give this movie 4 stars for its comedic relief and I enjoy Hayden Panettiere as an actress. I also feel that Paul Rust and Jack Carpenter make a dynamic nerd duo! Hope you have a good laugh!!!!
