If you didn’t love the first one, you’re nuts.  If you didn’t see the second one, do it now!  And get ready to roll with laughter when you allow Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs to grace your family’s presence.

Manny (Ray Romano), Ellie (Queen Latifah), Sid (John Leguizamo), Diego (Denis Leary), and Scrat are back and ready for their third and best adventure yet!  As Manny and Ellie are preparing for the arrival of their first little mammoth, Sid stumbles across a few rather large eggs and decides he’d like to adopt them and be a father also.  Trouble comes around, as it always does with Sid, when the eggs’ real mother notices they’re missing and sets out to find the culprit.  Find him she does, and hauls her three little ones along with Sid back to her home that is way, way, waaaaayyyy under the ice! The rest of the gang follow the big mama’s tracks to try and save their friend from certain death, with the help of a new friend along the way.

This film is fantastic!  I expect nothing less from the Ice Age cast and crew who has yet to disappoint with one of these gems.  Fantastic animation, perfectly cast voices, and it’s good, clean fun for all ages! It will certainly bring a smile to anyone’s face.  The DVD was released on 10/27/09 – what are you waiting for?!  Snuggle up with your man/woman or those little rug rats you love so much and a bowl of popcorn!  It’s an Ice Age kind of night ;o)
