Watching Chicago Blackhawks hockey has made me remember one of my favorite movies as a child.
D2: The Mighty Ducks is the sequel to the 1992 Disney Movie The Mighty Ducks.  This little league team is back for more when Coach Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) is asked to be the coach for Team USAs Goodwill Games hockey team.  Coach Bombay gets his players back together, along with some new talented players from across the country.  This new team has to learn to work and play together to become the team to beat at the Goodwill Games.  Hendrix hockey equipment sponsors the team, which makes  Coach Bombay get in over his head with all the endorsements and fame, causing Team USA to lose against Iceland, the toughest team on the ice.  The tournament continues with more challenges along the way, including an injured player and having to play Iceland again.  But there is no challenge The Mighty Ducks can’t face!  Some actors you may notice include Joshua Jackson, Kenan Thompson, and Kathryn Erbe
D2 is a great family sports movie. Â This is a Sullivan family favorite and still makes me crack up every time I see it. Â It has some great humor and pranks throughout the whole movie. Â The movie also shows good sportsmanship for little league teams. Â I would highly suggest for families to see The Mighty Ducks, D2: The Mighty Ducks, and D3: The Mighty Ducks. Â All three movies are great with all the same actors in them. Â I would add them to your library of favorite sports movies! Â Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Classic. Pure classic. I love this!
Best part of this movie was when Harry Potter flew in and brushed the puck into the goal to win the tri-wizard tournament. Assist was made by none other than Ginger Ron.
