SnowWhiteDVD2009coverIt’s back for a limited time!

For the first time ever, the very first Disney animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is going to be on DVD and Blu-Ray this Tuesday, October 6!

This 1937 animated classic was made from the Grimm Fairytales.  Snow White is about a princess who leaves her wicked stepmother and finds a cottage deep in the woods.  The dwarfs who live there invite her in, and she lives with them.  She cooks and cleans while the dwarfs are away at work.  All this time, she dreams of her prince coming to sweep her off her feet.  She is the ‘fairest of the land’ and the evil queen does not approve.  The evil queen turns herself into an old lady and goes to visit Snow White with a poisoned apple.  Snow White takes a bite and falls into a deep sleep that can only be awakened by true loves kiss.  The dwarfs and the prince come to save her, and of course the evil queen dies, and the prince awakens Snow White.  And they live happily ever after!

This famous fairytale is being sold in the Diamond Edition.  There is a blu-ray/dvd combo pack.  This includes many extras including a view of Hyperion Studies where this movie was developed, as well as backstage disney where you will see rare footage of Walt Disney himself!  For kids, there is a section where there are some fun games, such as Jewel Jumble!  Disney Channel’s Tiffany Thorton has a music video for “Some Day My Prince Will Come” and much more!

This Disney classic is great for the whole family and is a wonderful love story!

I am a kindergarten teacher and everyday is something new and exciting. I am also a cheerleading coach at Benet Academy. I have a dog named Paisley and a husband named Steve. I absolutely love shopping, beaches, and anything Disney. I also like to read a lot and listen to music, especially country. My favorite genre of movies is romantic comedies, which are the ideal chick flicks!
