The original is the honest story based on how difficult is truly is and how you have to work for your dreams and go through everything, meet wrong people, and not get bothered by the butt-holes along the way who will merely judge you. And ESPECIALLY not to trust people who offer you things that seem too good to be true. THE HARD CORE HONEST TRUTH. What people REALLY need to know. I'm not sure if it was the way it was filmed or the fact that the plot was so shallow, but I couldn't watch anymore! Even my mother couldn't believe that she enjoyed this movie when it first came out. The Fame (2009) was too High School Musical-like. I went to a performing arts high school and the original Fame was much closer to the truth of what it was like than the bubblegum version of last year.
