Tibby (Amber Tamblyn), Carmen (America Ferrera), Bridget (Blake Lively), and Lena (Alexis Bledel) are all grown up with a year of college under their belt, and once again, spending the summer doing very different activities and living in different places. Â Tibby is working on yet, another documentary while working at a video rental place and dating Brian (Leonardo Nam), whom she has a pregnancy scare with. Â Carmen travels to Vermont to go out for a play with her friends from Yale. Â Bridget travels to Turkey on an archeological dig, and when she returns is depressed about her mother who passed when she was younger. Â She decides to then travel to see her grandmother whom she hasn’t spoken to in years. Â Lastly, Lena is staying home and going to art classes, when she receives shocking news from Kostas (Michael Rady), and then finds herself falling for the model in her class. Â The girls have taken advantage of their long friendship and realize that the pants are not what is going to keep them together, but being together and getting each other through the rough patches in life.
For those girls who have read The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants novels, you will not be happy with this film. Â The director decides to take the last three books and mush them together to make a movie. Â I felt there was alot missing from doing this and I was very disappointed. Â On another point of view, those who have not read the novels, may enjoy the film. Â It is set up just like the first one with all the parts of a chick flick offered! Â It is cute and funny, and most girls can relate to the problems that arise in the film. Â Have a girls night in and watch both movies and relive those teen years!

haha…I heard this movie was cute! Did you read the books? Are they any good?
