Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) loves his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) very much and has become a big part of her life now that he is retired from his job of being a spy.  Kim asks her dad’s permission to go to Paris with her friend Amanda (Katie Cassidy) for the summer.  He is very reluctant and says no at first, but then decides to let her go under a couple of conditions.  Once she gets there she is supposed to call him, but her and Amanda get wrapped up into meeting a young man who shares a cab with them and asks them to come to party with them later that evening.  Bryan kept trying to call Kim, and when she calls him back, she sees Amanda get kidnapped and Bryan talks Kim through everything she needs to do.

Bryan is on the next flight out to Paris doing everything in his power to find his daughter.  He meets many obstacles and people along the way, and all of his tricks that he learned from being a spy is helping him learn how and why his daughter was taken.  This high action packed thriller is amazing and scary at the same time.  It makes me never want to travel to Paris by myself, but the way that spies figure out how to solve a case is pretty amazing.  This film is great for a movie night in with your loved one!
