Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) is ready for a baby in her life, but she has not found Mr. Right. Â She decides to get inseminated and is really excited to possibly be a mom very soon. Â On her way home, it starts raining, so she hails a cab and Stan (Alex O’Loughlin) jumps in at the same time. Â They argue over who is going to get it, and they both end up getting out and having to walk. Â Zoe runs into Stan again and they decide to go on a date. Â After hitting it off, Zoe is so happy and figures that there is no way she can get pregnant on her first attempt through insemination. Â Boy was she wrong!!!!Zoe finds out she is pregnant after Stan asks her back to his farm when she decides she needs to tell him that she is pregnant. Â She also refuses to sleep with him during this time, but ends up giving in because of her raging pregnant hormones. Â Right after, she throws up and explains her pregnancy. Â Stan is very shocked, but decides to stay by Zoe’s side. Â They deal with nine months of them finding out she is going to have twins, buying baby items, and balancing their jobs. Â They even get to witness a water birth and Zoe becomes the focal point!
As in every romantic comedy there is, Zoe and Stan break up over a stupid fight, and of course end up together at the end when they both realize that they were wrong to only live happily ever after.  This film is a total chick flick, but there are quite a few scenes where we see the dad-to-be’s point of view and worries.  I watched it with my husband and we both found ourselves laughing out loud and even acting like this couple in love at times.  I enjoyed watching the film and would see it again.  It reminded me a lot of The Wedding Planner, another film with Jennifer Lopez.  This film also stars Michaela Watkins, Tom Bosley, and a cameo of the modern Jan Brady herself, Jennifer Elise Cox.

this looks typical, but may be a dvd rental.
I actually wanted to see this! Yes, me who does not care for the chick flick taste. I can’t help but LOVE J-lo. She’s so hott!
