Milo Boyd (Gerard Butler) is a bounty hunter in New Jersey. Â Nicole Hurley (Jennifer Aniston) is a reporter and working on a big suicide case. Â They are ex-husband and wife and despise each other. Â Nicole was arrested for assaulting an officer and when her court date came, she missed it to gain new information on the suicide case. Â Milo is given the job of finding his ex-wife, and jumps at this opportunity going straight to her place to get some information. Â He runs into Nicole’s co-worker Stewart (Jason Sudeikis) trying to find her as well so they can work on the story together. Â Milo finds out that Nicole is headed for Atlantic City and goes to find her mother, Kitty (Christine Baranski) which leads him to find her at a dog race. Â He catches her and their crazy journey to stay alive begins!
Since Nicole is working on this suicide story, she is starting to gain too much information and people are finding out and trying to hurt her. Â Milo is also in trouble when he has an unpaid gambling debt and is being searched for. Â They are both trying to do their job and stay alive, while there is still a mystery that needs to be solved. Â Their love also starts to grow for each other again about halfway through their journey when a mutual friend tells them that they need to lay low for a while and find themselves staying at the same place they were at on their honeymoon. Â Apologies are given and their love starts to unfold, but then their jobs get in the way again, and the wild chase starts right back up!
The Bounty Hunter was a pretty good film. Â Of course we all know how these films end when people start out hating each other, they fall in love at the end. Â Besides that, the film had quite a bit of comedy, action and mystery. Â I was on the edge of my seat trying to help them with the mystery suicide and it kept me alert. Â I liked the movie a lot more than I thought I would and I am glad I did. Â I hope that you find the time to watch this film as well because I give it 4 stars!
