I just absolutely loved this movie!

At first, I was kind of skeptic with Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock taking part in a movie together.  They both tend to play different roles – Ryan Reynolds as the over-aged college student, and Sandra Bullock as the young-hearted mature woman.  But, in this movie their personalities had g-r-e-a-t chemistry!  There were lots of witty come-backs and 1 good scene with lots of skin showing (wink wink).  This movie shows that everyone does in fact have a softer side hiding behind their “shield” that protects them from the vulnerability of the outside world.

Margaret (Sandra Bullock) is a cold-hearted, shrewd editor who gets threatened to be deported back to Canada due to an expired Visa.  She then had a crazy idea and decided on a spur of the moment that she is to wed her assistant, Andrew (Ryan Reynolds).  They both end up going to Alaska to visit Andrew’s family, and that is where they learn a lot about not only each other, but themselves too.  They end up falling in love as they both live a lie.  There are lots of hilarious scenes that take place.

Whether you’re going to see this movie with a friend or boyfriend, there are lots of laughs to be shared.
