Leo (played by Channing Tatum) and Paige (played by Rachel McAdams) are a recently married, fun-loving, creative couple, until the day that Paige forgets who Leo is. Leo is in the music industry and Paige is an aspiring artist. They had it all, until the day that they are a part of a tragic car accident- an accident that changes their lives. After the accident, Paige is left unconscious. She wakes up to her parents who she apparently hasn’t seen in a very long time, but she cannot understand why that is. When she sees her husband Leo, she assumes he is the doctor. Leo cannot believe this. Paige has forgotten who he is. She has forgotten her own husband.
Leo wants her to come home immediately so she can try to get back into her routine, but Paige’s parents think it would be best if she came home with them. She agrees to go with Leo, but it seems to be too much for her to handle. Leo is a stranger, so Paige eventually goes to back to live with her parents. Leo spends a majority of this romance film trying to get his wife to fall back in love with him.
Towards the end of the movie things unravel and Paige begins to become her true self again. She becomes less confused as to why she fell for a guy like Leo. Though some people may have expected a different ending than the one given in this movie, it was overall a good film. It keeps you wondering.
