If you are a gal who likes a movie with a lot of action and comedy, this is definitely for you! Â The first Transformers that came out in 2007 was phenomenal, and as a girl myself who isn’t really into action movies, I fell in love with the story.
In Revenge of the Fallen, Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) is off to his freshman year of college. Â Excited to start a new adventure, he is sad to leave his love Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox) behind. Right before Sam leaves, the action begins with small Decepticons in the Witwicky household because of a piece of the All Spark that Sam finds in his pocket. Before he leaves he gives the piece to Mikaela for safe keeping, but a Decepticon finds it and locates Mikaela. Â She nags the Decepticon and goes to get Sam from college when he calls and tells her that he has been writing weird symbols and speaking a different language. Â Once there, Mikaela thinks that Sam is cheating on him with a new girl, to only find out she is a Decepticon in disguise. Â The adventure begins here, and never stops. Â Taking Sam’s roommate Leo Spitz (Ramon Rodriguez) with them, they find that Megatron is back and fighting with Optimus Prime. Â The hero we all know and love falls to Megatron and the Fallen rises.
Many forces from the first movie come back into roles to help out with finding the matrix of leadership and the sun harvestor. Â The only way to bring back Prime and to get rid of the Fallen, is to get the matrix to Prime and destroy the sun harvestor before the Decepticons get to it. Â A huge battle breaks out with Autobots and Decepticons all over to protect and destroy these items. Â
This movie also stars Josh Duhammel, Tyrese, and John Tuturro.
Revenge of the Fallen is not only action packed, but there is a lot of comedy within the movie.  The movie is definitely worth the theatre price and everyone will love it.  The sexual references between all the cast gives the movie the comedic relief during low action time.  I was  extremely sad when Prime died because I did not see it coming, so the movie was even a little emotional for people like me.  The movie is about 150 minutes long, but it never felt like I was sitting there without a dull moment.  The chemistry between LaBeouf and Fox is also great.
I give Revenge of the Fallen 4.5 stars because it is a movie you will want to see in the theatres and everyone will like this movie for some reason or another.
