Twilight (2008) is one of the most well known and hottest movies around right now. Â Being that Halloween is just around the corner, as well as the sequel, New Moon (landing in theaters on November 20), I thought this was the perfect time to do a review on not only one of my favorite movies, but book as well.
Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) moves to a small town named Forks in Washington. Â Her mother is moving to Florida with her stepfather, so Bella thought she would move up north to spend some time with her real father, Charlie (Billy Burke). Â Bella begins her first day of school, and notices a peculiar group of students sitting all by themselves, with one in particular staring at her. Â The teenagers at Bella’s table explain that they are the Cullens. Â They were all adopted by Mr. Cullen, one of the town’s doctors and his wife. Â Bella meets Edward (Robert Pattinson) for the first time in Biology. Â He looks apalled that the new girl, Bella, needs to sit next to him and be his lab partner. Â He makes as little contact as possible. Â This make Bella curious to why he is acting like that, and starts to get more information about the Cullens. Â Edward misses quite a few days of school, and when he comes back, Bella approaches him and wants to know why he is treating her this way. Â He plays it off and she goes with the flow. Â Later on, Bella is in the parking lot with her ipod on, and a car squeals out of control almost taking her life. Â Out of no where, Edward is there saving her life. Â This makes Bella even more curious, and she researches exactly who Edward really is.

She finds out he is a vampire and he does not deny it. Â He takes her to one of the deepest parts of the forest and explains everything to her. Â From there, a deep romance begins. Â Bella starts to meet the rest of the family, Alice (Ashley Greene) becomes very close to Bella and is very excited that Edward has found someone new. Â Rosalie (Nikki Reed) on the other hand, does not want anything to do with Bella, as she is a human and feels she is bringing great danger to their family. Â As their romance blossoms, people to start to wonder, including one of Bella’s friends Jacob (Taylor Lautner) who becomes very concerned and wants her to stay away from the Cullens. Â Bella thanks Jacob for being protective, but says she can handle it. Â The Cullens invite Bella over to play a game of baseball, and a couple of vampires pass through town. Â They get a whiff of Bella’s blood, and the vampire James (Cam Gigandet) wants to attack. Â The Cullens get rid of Bella and send her somewhere right away, but James know what he wants and is does everything in his power to find her. Â Bella is taken to Phoenix, where James is waiting for her in her old ballet studio, and the fighting begins. Â She is bit, and Edward comes in to fight James and has to try to save Bella’s life.
Twilight is a very intense movie with a lot of romance and mystery behind the vampire clan.  The Twilight Series (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn) are some of the best books I have ever read. They are books that I could never put down because you dont know what is going to happen next.  I feel in love with the story and everyone will enjoy this movie, as their is action for the guys and romance for the girls.  I give twilight 5 stars!  I saw it the night it came out in the theaters, and I own the blu-ray as well.  I could watch the movie, over and over again!

Agreed! I loved the books…I could not put them down! When I did put book down, I was thinking about it! I am definitely on Team Edward….I hate Jacob!!! Anyway, thanks for reviewing this amazing story. Can’t wait to see the new one in November!
