Whiteout, Whiteout, Whiteout… I wish you would have been a better movie.

I originally thought this movie would be decent, but oh boy was i wrong. I’m gonna make this review short and sweet. U.S. Marshall Carrie Stetko (Kate Beckinsale) is stationed in Antarctica and is about ready to catch the last flight out before the sun sets for six months and the whiteout comes, until she comes across a dead body on the ice. This is just what she needed a couple days before she leaves. With the big whiteout storm coming, Stetko needs to find answers and she needs them quickly. Stetko makes her first encouter with the killer and just nearly escapes his wrath. Things quickly begin to fall into place after stumbling upon a stunning secret below the ice. With the help of a U.N. agent named Robert Pryce (Gabriel Macht), the two make quick progress, but with the whiteout storm closing in ahead of schedule, they need to pick up the pace before they can’t see their own breath. OMG!

The acting wasn’t that bad, but the whole concept could have been better in my book to make a stronger plot. I just need some darkness in horror movies. I really wish this movie would have been better because I do think it had the potential.

I would have to give this movie a rating of 2 frost bit fingers. This movie is definitely guy friendly but I would recommend going to see the movie 9 instead.
